As is tradition, on the first CM after the GA, people are "elected" or rather put themselves forward to volunteer in the Space Commission, which nowadays mostly focuses on the purchasing of food and drinks.
The following members are volunteering:
Project Brainstorming
- private surveillance by citizens
- orimpe got told you had to contact the individuals initially before complaining to the CNPD
- Usage data by ISPs and telephone providers
- deflenken didn't back the data hoped
- If we want to work on it, we need someone that's a bit more legal-savy to verify our work
- Manifesto
- virii worked on it a bit in the past, but it was mostly translated Hackerethik
- We could work on it in the future, send around a pad in an email with some resources
- ChaosMeeting: we should send a mail the weekend before on the internal mailinglist
Freifunk
fflux-test was reset to Debian 12 and set up using Ansible. It allowed us to discover some bugs which were fixed.
A Freifunk Meeting should be organized on a weekend, where we sign experimental and beta with orimpe's key and hopefully release stable, among with other things that people might come up with.
Matrix
Matrix and postgresql were updated, but everything started breaking. After rolling a backup, things came back to life but channels had to be recreated.
Unlike XMPP, Matrix is a black box, which makes maintenance quite difficult
